Hi all,
I uploaded a PLC S7-300 project, but during the upload process, I got a message saying that some GSD files were missing ("GSDML-V2.1-#Siemens-PreConf_CBE30xPNxIO-20100209-144026.xml"). I continued the upload anyway.
However, after the upload was completed, when I opened the Hardware Configuration, the ET200S station showed up but with no I/O modules (the ET200S uses a memory card).
What should I do to fix this issue?
Does anyone have the missing GSD file that I might need? All of this because i need to change the PLC from 317 to 315F.
Thanks!

in your proj you are have a simotion with user-defined profinet message over additional tcp card.
not depend by et200s.
try to upload from simotion and generate *.gsdml

Hello,
are your sure, that this is et200. If you google for CBE30xPNxIO - you find something with a Siemens Simotion.
And if you have Siemens Scout - you find some gsd-files in the Addon-Folder.
Hope this helps

Re: S7-300 upload missing HW Config
Hello,
there are some posts in the internet for this problem.
Please look at this - https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs ... 0&lc=en-US
And below the pictures there is a link to the documentation.
And in the pdf-File look at page 29 point 7. There is the Name of the GSDML file.
It has something to do with a Simotion drive.
Hope this helps

Re: S7-300 upload missing HW Config
Hello,
find a little bit more about the gsd-file. This file will be created, if you have an i-device in your project. This happens when you exchange signals to another equipment in the plant.
If you have for example a press in your plant and you want transfer signals from/to the press than you can use the i-device. The plc of the press create the file for the data exchange (as the master) and you take this
file in your project to communicate with the press.
Hope this helps
