6. Licensing

Engineering is license-free. The following licenses are required to operate Runtime:

Automation system (AS) Runtime license (SIMATIC CFL 1 AS RT License per Controller CPU S7-1x00 6AV2155-0HM00-0LB0)
WinCC Unified PC Runtime license (SIMATIC CFL 1 HMI RT License per WinCC Unified PC Runtime 6AV2156-0HM00-0LB0)

The AS Runtime license is required for each released SIMATIC S7 controller on which the components of the SIMATIC Control Function Library V4.x are to be loaded.

The HMI Runtime license is required for each SIMATIC WinCC Unified PC System on which local operation with the SIMATIC Control Function Library V4.x is to be executed.
