Hey guys, Ali here.
I want to know if communicating two Weintek HMIs with S7 300 PLC is possible through MPI port of the CPU. Since the CPU is 2DP, I don't have the option to go for Ethernet and I rather consider not using any gateway for profibus to Ethernet. I am trying to communicate the HMIs with CPU over the same cable of RS 485 2W, so I just want to know if it's possible or not? Is there any unique addressing that is required for me to process this thing?
Any information and help would be appreciated. Thanks!
