Hi all
how i can control Rotary table with encoder ?
s7 200 ? or s7300
i want after each 45 angle table stop for 3 s
how i can calculate angle with encoder ?

Firstly you need Counter Module to connect encoder

S7-200 has standard counting inputs , and can be configured also for encremental 24V encoder , for 5V encoder you need S7-214 XP model

S7-3xx-C models also have standard counting inputs and also can be configured for 24V encoder

calculation is very simple , encoder has 5000 impulses per rotation so angle of 45 means you have to stop after a count of 625 impulses
all depends on how correct you want the 45 angle stopping
