Hello,
I am developing an application outstanding supervision on Monitor Pro V 7.2 of Schneider Electric, this application will normally be configured as a post server + Client Monitor (SQL Server 2000 + SP3 + OFS + MSQL +MONITOR Pro 7.2 System) and several clients (Monitor Client) Remote communicating with the server via a wired Ethernet LAN under the TCP / IP.
When the client coexists with the server in the same position the application works fine, but when I try to press the remote client to the server application I fail.
Is there anybody has already tried to connect a remote monitor client with the server, please provide me with your experiences in this regard, documentation, clarifications, explanations ...
Note:
- The operating system installed on all PCs: Windows XP SP3.
- I searched the documentation Schneider I found no evidence of thinning.

Bonjours,

Re: Application Client/Serveur Monitor Pro
MonitorPRO-client is connected to a MonitorPRO-server through OPC DA.
Probably problems with DCOM, try the following:
- Start services: RPC, Locator RPC, DCOM
- stop services: FIREWALL and ICS
- configure DCOM Configurator: allow access to a OPC-server, open all ports
- Establish identical users on the client and a server
- check connection with a server MonitorPRO uses OFS-client
