We build controllers for limited use \ handicapped lifts and use Koyo DL-06 PLCs from automation direct to control them.
From time to time we receive a DL-06 from a client or from the shop that either is missing a password or somehow fails to authenticate the password which was entered. Theres about 6-7 of them now just collecting dust and I'd like to be able to access them again.
Is there a way to unlock these PLCs WITHOUT having to send them into the manufacturer to be unlocked? I would imagine they have some sort of tool to accomplish this. Does any one have access to this tool or any other means of over riding the password? We dont need to preserve the program in the PLC so if this tool blanks the PLC thats fine

Any help on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated
