Mate,
In that case, costs of USD375 is not that much.
It is just my opinion regarding edz files. For detailed and professional projects like you described using licensed products has advantages and should be considered, especially if you hand over project files to customers.

375$ might not be the only cost.
It may be that in Russia or China no one cares if you use cracked software, but in Germany or Austria I would not register with an illegal license on the data portal.
That can be really expensive!

I will never mind to work without data portal. (Maybe except for 3d model in Pro panel).
Eplan data portal sucks the majority of the times. Parts not correctly created, for example many errors in a plc card in pin type between the symbol and the representation, wrong ordering data.... and many more.
The cost of the yearly data portal fee is a robbery!!! (More than 1k€), for being checking each part downloaded from data portal, because most of the data has errors!!

The idea for a DataPortal is good, but no regulations from EPLAN for the companies to create good macros without errors.
Nobody need macros when you must control any clamp and designations.
Some electrical macros are only in free graphic lines ...

You are right, eplan dataportal is only a option, no dataportal we also can use Black box to crated marco.
Some marco when I download from dataportal also need take many time to modified as this is not totally can use in my drawing style.
Even i have toatally EDZ 2.7 offeline but i not usallay to use it. It take me a lot of drive space, i only store it to cloud drive some time to search a xml document.

Eplan doesn't allow to run on remote desktop, you can try using VNC

You can start EPLAN on a remote desktop.

create a .bat file, insert:

call "C:\Program Files\EPLAN\Electric P8\-EPLAN-Version-folder-\Bin\W3u.exe"

Start the bat file, remote desktop will be closed, Eplan starts, open remote desktop again, you can work with Eplan.

Unfortunately, I had no time due to professional and private reasons, which is why I am only now reporting.
Since this will be the last post for a while, I'll try to describe a solution for update 1.

In update 1 the license client was adapted in such a way that the functions of vcruntime140.dll are contained directly, why the dll is no longer run. Here a new way must be found.
In the following I describe the places, which would have been adapted by the vcruntime140.dll in update 1.

File eplancommoncore.dll has the following address, where the register RAX must always be 0x0! The first pass is usually 0x0, which is not the case with the second.

Thanks for the explanation with how things have changed with Update 1 with regard to vcruntime140.dll & EplanCommonCore.dll.
Did you actually test & get it to work after making the changes to vcruntime140.dll with Update 1?

Just curious if your notes were tested working

vcruntime140.dll will no longer work, because the source code used in it is no longer called, but has been implemented with its own means by manufacturer.

The lines above show where update 1 must be changed to make the application run again. I have tested it myself and it works.
The best is to start in debugger and patch code live, so you avoid hash check of eplancommoncore.dll.

Unfortunately changing eplancommoncore.dll is not so cool, so the above code has to be changed in a smart way. Here I would think of a hook just before the check, where another system function is abused so that the check can be patched.

I hope you can do something with the info, because I'm currently not working on a solution. The keygen seems to be well prepared for future, so that only hash check must be patched.

Keygen cost a lot of work, but the result is acceptable. Currently I have no plans to send source code.

Ok, this is something new. Out of interest I will look at it, but promise no solution. In best case, several solutions arise.

There is already a very nice approach, let's see if something comes out of it.

As you know, EPLAN uses Sentinel RMS 9.X for licensing. I used to use the RMS Decoder/Recoder 5.0 tool (by Zhgong007) for lower versions of the RMS. But this tool does not work for newer RMS license. Is it possible to change the keygen you wrote for EPLAN to a way that can be used for other software? I mean, provide a general tool for licensing all software that uses RMS 9.X.

i have a problem with activation of Eplan P8 2.9. I have list with licenses, but only information that: I cant use because of: "A stand-alone license can only be used on one console."
I did everything with ReadMe so I had modified hosts file in Windows, put dll to eplan bin folders, create a licence file with my HWID and cant run my eplan

Attached you will find a way to run Update 1, which has worked so far on two machines for base 2022 + Update 1. Since I do not have ProPanel at hand, I can not say how it behaves with other product lines.

Development was done with the knowledge that routines exist to detect modifications. Despite everything, changes are not related to Update 1 and could work with following updates.
To make modification last a few days longer, the files were protected with special software, which makes analysis much more difficult. Here it could come to false positive virus messages.

The readme file gives short information about installation location, which is basically the same as usual, except for an additional dll, which must be placed in the folder "C:\Users\Public\EPL".
Since I have no knowledge of eplan, someone else will have to do the exact functional testing and confirm if changes works.

From my point of view, it is not possible with little effort.
The problem with PKCS#1 check will probably exist for all of them, which can only be circumvented by modifying the files.

RMS 9 framework would also have to consist of individual modules, where each customer can define a certain part himself. But since I do not have this in front of me, I can only make assumptions here, which have arisen during debugging.

Maybe I will pass on the source code of the keygen, so more talented developers can work on it

After I installed the New patch, I clicked EPLAN electric P8 2022 and there was no response. No windows pop up. But I'm sure it's EPL Something's wrong with the DLL. Because I deleted the EPL folder, I can open EPLAN electric P8 2022, but I am not authorized to proceed to the next step.

Hello, Eplan for version 2.9 is no longer available with vcruntime.dll, and created lservrc from "crack"? This vurnability of epan is repaired already?

Now my computer shows me that, license is no valid for this comp, but I have correct HWID in generator of license.
Could some one give a help hand?

Hi,

Start EPLAN and go to Folder > help > support and update > Download manager > install Update1
No problem to get update with illegal licence

I face that problem with Data Portal at my new installation after update my computer to Windows 10:
