FX2N PLC software help needed

Post by segaauto » Sun Oct 05, 2014 6:28 pm

Hi everybody I have a FX2N PLC that the battery got damaged and the program was lost. Now the battery was replaced. We found the plc program in a disk, the extencion files are *.pmw *.cow *.dmw and *.ptw .We have the GX IEC Developer V7.04 and Melsec Medoc V2.3 and have a very good communication with the plc I can create, download and upload but they do not recognize this extensions and can't open them.
I have also Melsec Medoc FX/WIN v2.01 it is possible to open the *.pmw and I can modify it but this sowtware can't comunicate with the plc.
I'm using Windows XP sp 3.
Any idea whats happening here??? is there any other software that I need to use??? Is it possible to convert this files to any other extension???
Does any body has a newer version or complete version of Melsec Medoc FX/WIN???
Any help will be welcome.

Thanks in advance
