AC800M IPConfig Timeout

Post by niko87 » Wed Feb 20, 2013 9:06 am

I try to assign IP address to PM861A processor but always fail with "Connecting to controller failed.Timeout".
No problem with the cable as this was used to other processor and work. The time elapsed between click "Connect" button to reset is also minimum.
Please advise if there is other way to deal with this issue? Thanks for attention.

Please, check your COM Port. Another application in your computer might be using the same COM port you are using to connect to the Controller. A quick check is through your Device Manager. In the Device Manager, expand the COM port and very that it is the same one you are using to connect. Other you select another COM port in the settings of the System utility.

Hi Abelky98, thanks for your response. The COM port (COM 1) is OK as this PC was used to configure other AC800M processor and works.

When your CPU reset, could you see the Tx Led blink in COM4?
