I'm writing a solution of a problem that won't appear unless you use SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2016 and less; I don't know about higher versions. I wanted to build a panel an had a problem that the needed models of PLCs weren't available in the database and simply you can't auto-update the database so I found out this website: http://electrical-contentportal.solidwo ... alogs.aspx
You simply register and have access to the following:
856 Manufacturer, 29 Catalogs, 2,037 Series, 11,900,560 Manufacturing Tool, 5,599 Cable Reference, 2,801 Symbol and 11,050,413 2D Footprint.
