[?+]: Mobile Panel 277 B and notSiemens SD-CARD

Post by TitusII » Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:02 am

Hi,

i have Mobile Panel 277 B and 2GB Kingston Elite Pro SD-CARD for message Archivs.
The Panel detect the Card but, i can not read/write.
The write Protection is off, FAT16 on a primary Partition.

I have the SD-card with SDFormatter V2.0.0.3 formated.
The same, no access under WinCE5.0/WinCC Flexible Image V1.1.0.3.

The siemens-suppert write , we must use the original siemens SD-Cards or MMC-Cards.

Has anybody a answer for this Problem?

I used normal not-Siemens CF cards on MP370 for tag archive without any problems. But in your case there's an SD and CE5..

Are your sure everything is properly configured?
BTW, you mean alarm logs?

Yes, i am sure that alls configured. On MP 370 and MP377 we use Kingston Elite Pro CF 2GB without Problems, only on Mobile Panel 277 B we have this Problems.

Has anybody a Mobile Panel 277 B with SD Card (not original siemens) in use?

Its only a SD-Card, not SDHC.

The Path is
\STORAGE CARD 2\

If i have a file on the card, but i dont see this in the MP explorer.
its not a hidden file...

I think the problem is the 2 GB - there are a Limit in the Panel? 512MB?

Has anybody a Mobile Panel 277 B with not original siemens SD Card bigger than 512 MB in use?

OK, all problems resolved.

First Step:

format a new SD-card (not SDHC) with
http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/s ... atter.html
(works with all Manufacturers)

Second Step:

open the Explorer and create a file on SD-Card, if this is possible, all ok,

If not check the write-protection on the card, check the Hardware-Control for the write-protection at the Card-Slot in the Panel (that was my problem,
the contacts were bent)

tested with Kingston Elite Pro 512MB, 1024MB, 2048MB and Panasonic 256MB SD-Cards
