I need information about PLC TSX PREMIUM TELEMECANIQUE.
What software and interface cable must use to connect ?
Please help if anybody know the information.

Hello!

There are two type of Premium Processors and hence the softwares.
1. PL7 Processor and PL7 Junior or PL7 Pro Software is required for it.
2. Unity Processor and Unity Pro M or XL Software is required.

For the PL7 Processor, it has a mini-din connector RS485 port and need to converters.
Schneider TSXPCX3030 cable is used to connect PLC the Laptop, but this cable is obsolete now and you can use a combination of cables i.e. TSXCUSB485T and TSXCRJ45.
You can also use normal RS485 to RS232 Converter to connect PLC to the PC.

Can I hold converts files from format PL7 PRO V4.5 format unity3.0. Or do we need to rewrite the program again? Where can I read a description of these formats, honestly can not find anything on them.

Hello,

There is a tool in Unity Pro Software for conversion from other Schneider Electric Software such as PL7, Concept, ProWORX or ModSoft.
These tools convert the application to unity pro format, but sometimes these tools may cause some minor errors and warning, which need to be resolved manually.
