u.c.me opc, it is a software that enable to talk to RSView or iFix to send out alert vs. email, phone call or sms.

Hi AOK,

I hadn't even heard of this one until your post. I checked out their customer list. It is obvious that their target market has been Israel, Australia, and the UK. I will definitely will keep an eye open for this one.

Couldn't a Kepware OPC be customized to provide the same functionality? I know most OPC vendors offer Alarm Management & SMS notification these days. Is it that U.C. ME has just packaged their product into a seamless and easy to use application?

I am willing to try anything, I just need a working solution for sending email or SMS from the opc alarm.


I have look into RSView messenger, but it does only phone call vs. modem.

Hi AOK,

I will do some digging today & see what I can some up with. I have several different OPC programs, but some of them I have not put them through all of their paces.

If I come up with what looks like a solution I will be sure to PM you.
