Method For SP5 working installation:
First install V8.1 SP4 and fix it using by replacing the cracked files and then running the licensing file. Second install V8.1 SP5 in the same folder you installed SP4. You will have a working V8.1 SP5.

Method for Installation of Indusoft V2020 using SP4 licensing method

Step-1: Install Indusoft 8.1 SP4
Step-2: Register it using the usual method (replacement of three files and registering 9999 3C method)
Step-3: Install Indusoft 2020 in the same folder you installed V8.1 SP4 <------ Important
Step-4: Run the program it will give the license error (no Problem)

Step-5: In the instlled folder (in my case C:\Program Files (x86)\InduSoft Web Studio v8.1\Bin) open "Programs Setting.ini" and change Version from 2020 to 8.1 and ServicePack from 4 to 6 under [Install] as shown below:

DemoMode=FALSE
TestCompatibility=1
ServicePack=6 <------------ just to differentiate between SP4 & 2020

First I'd like to thank you for the post, I followed all steps as listed however, I can't save after updating the "Programs Setting.ini" as instructed the file is restricted and an error pop up that I don't have the permission to open the file that I should see the owner of the file or an admin. Kindly advice further on what next is needed to do.

So, I was able to use notepad++ to save the Program settings file as administrator. But the new problem is that runtime screen is not working. I can't view the project I created on the Demo project runs. I don't know if anyone can advice me on the fix or do i need to downgrade back to 8.1 SP4 ?

The license is linked to the Ethernet card MAC address & “Studio Manager.exe” full path. When you run the keygen it creates a register setting in the following location:

6. Export Registry settings
7. Run reg8.1.reg on desired PC & install Web Studio
8. Change to Softkey Licence & press check (if all ok you should see it activated)
