[?]: KepWareEx 4.xx with Windows 7

Has any one licenced a Driver on Windows 7 with KepwareEx OPC server 4.xx ?

Yes, with no problem.

When i try to do it I get a message saying "Failed to create driver licence file". I have check the write permission in the folder and seem ok to me. Do you know where exacly it writes the licence file?

I have installed a Kepware OPC server V4.500.465 on several Windows 7 with no problems.

- I always use Win7 Pro or Ultimate 32-bit
- the user logged in Win7 must have admin rights
- I always disable UAC
- setup must be run with 'Run as Administrator'

Once the OPC server is installed, I run it. I just go to menu 'Help' and perform a licensing.
Because I never had any problems, I never bother to look, where it writes the license file.
Bit I think the license is written in registry...

I am also facing the same problem with Kepware 4.280.435.0-U operating system is WINDOWS7. error message is the same. Please let me know if any one is able it.

Use this version of Kepware... with this there is no problem in Win7 32-bit...

Hi,

Just tried to license a plugin for this using the included keygen
This works and licenses the plugin and asks now to unlockit and requires a password...
How do I get a password?

You must put the Computer ID to the keygen and you'll get Unlock code. Yoe get Computer ID in the Kepware screen, where you are asked to put the unlock code...
