[?]: Problem connection between Citect and Twido port

Post by Mesner74 » Wed Jul 01, 2009 4:53 pm

I can not activate the 7.0 Citect Vijeo communicate with TwidoPort 499TWD01100.
Notify the system without any problem if I connect with a Zelio.
The only way I make the comunizacione with TwidoPort is only through Visual Basic

Someone knows how to do it with Vijeo Citect? Please

What way of connection with Twido do you use? I mean do you use OPC Factory Server or direct MODNET driver?
Can you post more details about settings you use? It would be helpful if someone is going to give you some advices.

By twido port connection using Modbus / tcpip with Modnet30
the same configuration I used with the Zelio with an ethernet port and it works without any problem.
The configuration in Modbus / Tcpip is the IP of the PLC and TCP port 502

Well, it seems like a problem is in the configuration of TwidoPort and Twido.
If I were you I'd check all configuration folowing instructions in Twido Suite Programming Manual (p.345)

Thanks for the link.
I did a review of the system and the twidosuite communicate without any problems via the ethernet port.
I checked with telnet open as Citect announced and I saw that Citect intent to communicate with the twidoport but no twido answered.
I found an example of communication in Modbus TCP / IP written Visual Basic 6 and by that I can communicate perfectly well with the Twido.
I do not know that other parameters are missing from 2
