RsLogix 500 Activation

I have RsLogix 500 STD v7.30.10 and it is using the normal EVRSI.SYS activation. It hasn't nagged me to upgrade to Factory Talk Activation yet. I received a Technote from AB recently of a problem with RsLogix 500 when you are doing searches and instead of just searching some bits get replaced. The problem is with ver7.30.00. Their solution was to disable this type of search all together. For this reason I haven't upgraded yet. I'm waiting to see if there are some other issues as well. Version 8 must be a web release only as I have not received any updates. Once this goes gold I should get my copy and I'll post back of any issues.
