Panelview plus with kepserver

Hi,
We have two identical machines with Panelview plus hmi communicating with Siemens S71200 via kepserver opc. one of the machines hmi not working and we have to replace the HMI. Currently we do have the MER file backup only which is uploaded from the working system. I would like to know if we just download this mer file to new hmi it will work or it requires any opc files ?
