I installed Rslogix 500 8.4 with activation key 1014XXXXXX

When ever i click the exe file. message appears:

"Product is not installed correctly! please reinstal it to repair the problem."

windows is XP

second how to activate it.

I want to run Rsemulate 500 and RSlinks with it. could i ran Rslinks 2.5 with it.
