Newbie with RFID

Hi! i´m a student who is learning how to set up a RFID system. I have a RF180C and a rf200 reader. I know how to set up it but dont know how to use the ident blocks.
I know that the reader has to reset each time that you want it to read or write a transponder. But I don´t know how to do it automatically without using an digital input manually (with a switch), also dont know how to write into the transponder. Basically, I need help for everything... thanks in advance.
