[?]: S71500 and 2 light curtains

Hello All!

I've got a job at my workplace to put on another light curtain on a machine and modify the PLC program accordingly.
However, the two light curtain should be operated separately.

The first light curtain should be active, until the product is inside machine,
the second light curtain should be active, when the product has come out to the machine and the machine is going in home position.

So, the first light curtain is active, when the work process is active,
and the second light curtain is active, when the machine goes home position.

The reason why we would like to modify this, because we would like to accelerate the work process.
Does anyone have an idea how to make the two light curtain work separately?
I work with S71500 Siemens PLC in TIA portal v14 program.
