Simatic Net PCMCIA Profibus Card still useable?

Post by axios » Fri Sep 14, 2018 6:10 pm

Hello,

I have a Simatic Net PCMCIA Profibus Card, Adapter for CP5511/CP5512.
I am not all too familiar with Siemens.

The card is a 32Bit card and would work on one of my newer laptops, as it still has PCMCIA.

What can this card be used for?
Can I use it to program S7 300/400 and others?
Or is it worthless now, because too old?

Hello,

My Simatic CP5512 card works with Windows 10 x64 and TIA v16.
