S7-1500 Profibus Master and S7-300 Profibus Slave

Hi, in my project i have profibus communication between S7-1542-5 as Profibus master and S7-315 2DP as slave.
I was thinking that I would add S7-315 gsd file to S7-1500 project, configure transfer areas on both devices and that's it, but in real, when i add S7-315 GSD device, i cannot add memory transfer areas to it.

Anybody know why this going on. Looks like i'm doing something wrong!

you need first set 315 as dp-slave, configure transfer area in s7-315, generate gsd
after this install generated gsd in tia

Sania, thank you for your response, but i cannot find function to create gsd in TIA15.1. As i can understand, this info actual for Step7, but not for Portal. If i'm wrong, can you add picture, there i can find this.

on bottom of the communication table have button generate gsd
if 315 in tia why you cannot put 2 of plc`s in one project? in this case is very simple make master-slave

Hi, thank you for your help.
I found an error in my actions. If you read my first message, you will see that I asked why I can't add memory transfer areas.
And I just found it!
I just needed to open the Device overview tab, which is on the right. That's it!
I don't need to create a GSD file - I downloaded it from the Siemens website. I just need to add memory transfer areas!
