[?]: wincc flexible MPI network

Hi guys hope u can help me this..

I been troubleshooting a system and here are the component:
wincc flexible 2007 runtime on a PC as a SCADA
a MPI to USB adapter was installed for the PC which is connected to a siemens rs485 repeater.
4 S7200 connected by MPI network
4 local TP 177micro for each s7200 plc.

The system been working for a while then suddenly the SCADA (wincc flexible 2007 runtime) cannot establish communication with the PLCs.
LED at the repeater are flashing and all LED at the MPI to usb adapter are on. So i assume that the MPI network is ok.
So the problem must be at the configurations of the software..

i hope u can guide me to the right direction here.

i encountered new issue about it.
i finally manage to view the plc and hmi.
i installed step7 v5.5 and use simatic manager..
all the plc and hmi are in the accesible nodes

but when i try to run s7200 explorer, microwin or wincc flexible, i still cant establish connection.
i set pc/pg interface to PC adapter (MPI)
and scan for plc.. it took around 20 mins to show available nodes and they are all "unknown" <node number> see attached image


now im not sure it the problem is in the MPI cable or in the sofwares installed.
