[?]: SP1 For S7 V5.5

Dear Members,

The 1st service pack for Step7 V5.5 is now available from Siemens.
Can I directly install it on my PC which already has S7 V5.5 which was downloaded from the web?
My concern is what if Siemens has delivered this SP1 installation which will check for the authentication / legality of the existing S7 software (something like you can't get updates from Microsoft Windows if your existing installation of Windows is not genuine)?
And secondly, since this V5.5 has S7 Block Privacy , will it be able to decrypt the blocks which were KNOW_HOW_PROTECTED using earlier versions of S7(say using Step 7 V5.4)?
