How to make Yellow-disk from EKB files

Can anyone guide me make yellow-disk from ekb files.

1. Install old keys by Siemens.exe to HardDisk or copy FastCopy Long keys to c:\AX NF ZZ
2. Make new YD by EKBRename.
3. Move keys from HD to YD by Simatic ALM 2.*
On record more than 500 keys on a diskette is required a lot of time
... > 1 hour

I have created empty yellow disk with EKB Backup.but whenever i try to transfer auth frm HDD to FD, i get error message"It may be faluty.(Err 6).i am trying AuthorsW to transfer.

please guide me.

Try format track 71/72/78 in EKBBackup/EKBRename YD function.

i really impressed by this forum. Tufail_74, could u tell me how to create an empty YD by EKB rename? i try all the menu but failed.

Create YD for Step7 5.4 (or Step7 5.3) and move in ALM all keys from YD to Hard Disk.
After this you have empty YD - ready for copy keys from HD.
