Dear all,
i got 6es57342bf00 (s5 tty cable 5m).
i want to connect to my pc (9 pin).
this connector has a 25 pin.
i wire:

25 pin ----- 9 pin
2 ------ 2
3 ------ 3
7 ------ 5
i got plc time out.
has anybody use this cable with 9 pin connector before? what do i miss here?

dehell is right this cable is not a tty cable. it is used only with pg7xx.
i think what indian post is the cable configuration to connect pg7xx with s5 cpu.
i guess i have to find a tty cable. thank you everybody.

I also had problem with step 5 software when I used converter USB ---> RS232 9pin ---> RS232 25pin ---> TTY ---> PLC S5
but software PG2000 it working with same converter
Try PG2000
