For our upcoming project of S5 to S7 conversion we are planing to use IM 304 and 314. In firest stage we will run existing system from remote S5 CPU and then from S7 CPU using same S5 I/os. For this I need IM cable 721 ( 6ES5 721 xxxx) Details of this cables are given in the S7 400 module manual . But these detail seems to be confusing as it is not clearly mentioned type ( male or female ) of connector. Further pinout given for 50 pin sub d connector dose not match to standard one. So whic numbering is to follow. So I request to please give me all details including type of cable required.
