This is a cable for configuring MD720-3.
For connecting S7-1200 to MD720-3, I need a 6NH7701-5AN cable. Maybe it is the same cable, maybe it is not....

Siemens hide it because they sell cable 6NH7701-5AN (simple serial DB9 cable 2,5m) for 115Euros (ASSHOLES!).

Dongle is VERY expensive. It is cheaper to buy S7-2226 and connect port 0 to S7-300 MPI, and use S7-200 port 1 as Modbus device, then buy a dongle for CP341.

1. Check if there is an END code at the end of the program. If not, write it.
2. Check uption 'Upload to first END ' when uploading. Maybe you have some subs that usually come AFTER End instruction.

There are many differences between MPI and Profibus. All thay have in common is RS485 ohysical layer.
All S7-300 have MPI port, but not all have Profibus port.
So, connect, as begginer, via MPI.
