Yes it is possible. Select Your good formated coil. Press Edit -> Copy Format. Then select coil which You want to modify. Press Edit -> Assign Format. That's all. By the way probably You have icon for format copying on Your toolbar.

Value DW#16#84000000 sounds to me that it is related with some time. If this is time in miliseconds then if You cut 3 LSB's then You have DW#16#84000 (value in seconds). If You devide this value by 60 (no of seconds in minute) then You have 1400minutes. Maybe something like that.

It could be Your format pattern. You have to know which value You expect. Try for example to put s9999.9. Or maybe dimension of IO field is not sufficient. In Properties->Layout of IO field put check on Auto-Sizing.

Why do You need to do so, because if You program S7-300 controller with MMC all data blocks are retentive. That means if Your PLC go down it will start up with last values.
