For this particular task, the best practice - define the identical parts in your machine(actuators, drives, sensors) and write
FB(Functional block) for each type.
Then "connect" this FB in according sequence using FC.

It doesn't matter what you connect to this port, unless it's ABB drive.

Maybe it would be helpful - try enable Online configuration - Retain permanently.

According to programming manual terminals XD2D is just for Drive-Drive connection, not for Drive-PLC.

We had similar problem, the quick fix for us was - just disable and then enable network interface. Seems like some network card problem.
