Source protection only hides part of the logic. If you can't export to L5X, probably your application is protected with CPU Lock or RSMACC (FTV Assets).

The blocks are protected with source code protection feature. You can install this feature from RSLogix disk (it's inside Tools folder) but you need the password stablished by the original programmer to be able to unlock the blocks.
