Re: [?]: Cable PG631 AS501 for S5 130K / CPU921
Yes you are right. AS511 and the Serial Interfaces are different to the AS501.
The AS501 are very old und was used very seldom.
6ES5734-0BD20 is the right cable. But unfortunately i found nothing of information about it.
I have documentation about the 130A and W, but there is no pinout.
Sorry

It isn't possible to make a backup and use these for further actions. If you want to make changes you need the Protool or WinCCflex project files. The backup is only if you change the OP with the same OP. For the backup the OP must be in Transfer Mode, the Software you need is Prosave. https://suppo...

You can open V11 projects and its your decision to save as V11 or migrate to V12.
You can install V12 parallel to V11, so you can use bothe TIAs.

So I think your IP242 is broken. I hope for you, you have a spare part.

OK, your problem is the IP242 6ES5 242-1AA13. It's a 5 Channel Fast Counter Module, very old. I think you have 2 of them. The 1st uses the PW 224-239, the 2nd 240-255.
