i dunno i would go with an AB compact logix controller, probably your going to need a bus for all your i/o, for the servos i would go with ultra 3000 with sercos interface.

i figured it out, for whom it may be needed it is as following:

Pin 2 to 3
Pin 3 to 2
Pin 5 to 5

Baud rate 38400, 8 data bits- no parity

Can somebody provide me with the cable pinouts needed to connect to the ultra 3000 drives series, i tried serial null modem, no luck, tried serial straight through, no luck. If anyone has the pin out for the 'cn3' connector, would be helpful. seems to be a standard 9-pin d-shell connector. Also when...

it all depends to what you set up the option of homing to be, there is to home
- To Sensor/Fwd to Marker
- To Sensor/Back to Marker
- Home to Marker
- Home to Current Value/Back to Marker
- Home to Current Value
- Home Sensor
