Lenze PL trip
Hi We have a Lenze positioning control 93xx / software version 7 Global drive EVS9326-EP with a 10 KW MCS servo motor utilizing a SRS50 SICK encoder. X8 is the port that is dedicated to HIPERFACE encoders. Some circumstances force us to do a rotor position adjustment with the via GDC software (Globa...

Heidenhain EnDat
Hi What are the rules for choosing a heidenhain EnDat encoder? I have a broken encoder on my Baumuller servo motor need to be replaced, Apparently the encoder model is outdated (ECN 1313), and you could not find it in the market, Somebody told me you need to find an ECN 1313 with the same ID Nr and ...

B & R project problem
Hi experts I'm trying to diagnose some B&R servo motors (and other brands like stober) and the goal is to build a B&R project for testing B&R motors. there is a list of what I have for this aim: - Acopos 1022 servo drive with AC 110 and AC 120 card. - some B&R 8MSA servo motors - PP15 power panel (t...

Indradrive C
Experts! I have a indradrive C HCS02 of type CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-L1-S-NN-FW (BASIC UNIVERSAL SINGLE AXIS). All of a sudden the drive can not read encoder memory with C0270 (error in reading encoder memory). I check the encoder cable, and the motor encoder with other indradrive C, They are all right....

Panasonic servo drive
Hi I have a Panasonic Minas A5 servo drive trying to test in free run a Panasonic A6 servo motor, But as there is a mismatch between the motor and the drive, error 95.0 appears, which declares "motor automatic recognition protection". I'm looking for eliminating this error. (saying that cause in oth...

Re: elau servomotor encoder programming
Yesterday I connect my ELAU SM motors to an Indramat HCS02 drive (universal single axis model) to see if the commutation is possible via Indramat drive. The result was awful; My SM motors apparently lost its EEPROM (The diag code 117), Cause the ELAU pacdrive system doesn't recognize it anymore. I t...

Re: elau servomotor encoder programming
Product information of SRM50 (along with SRS50) pages 18 &19 declares some commands and their functions, like 42h: Read Position, or 4Ah: Read data, or 4Bh: Store data etc ... Do you know How can I execute these commands on encoder? Is it possible via SOPAS ET software? If yes, Which part of it? Do ...

Re: elau servomotor encoder programming
I found that ELAU put an electronic nameplate on their motors so could be easily recognized by ELAU controllers, Does it like an electronic signature so nobody can copy it to a row encoder?

elau servomotor encoder programming
Hi Some of ELAU SM servo motors utilize SICK STEGMANN encoders of type SRM50. My SM motor had a defective SRM50 and I bought a new one from SICK. I assume new encoders are always data-free and need to be programmed according to defective or other healthy encoders which already is working in factory ...

resolver mechanical phasing
Hi.
I have a 1326AB servo motor and its resolver is out of tune.
How is the procedure of mechanical manual phasing in Allen Bradley?
Is that V+ W- and sine wave null? or what?
Regards.
