Hi, The method I use is with a USB to USB transfer cable. You can get a Belkin one which will definately work. I use a clone type but whichever one you choose make sure you don't use the cables USB driver, use the USB Bulk Driver that is on a WinCC disk. Just set the transfer mode at the panel to be...

Hi, I would also use Ultrasonics for this application like teixeol2010 has suggested. If you do have to go for the the WIKA equipment check its suitability on long term immersion in acid, Hasteloy has excellent corrosion resitance but I would choose a plastic encapsulated device every time for acid....

You might have trouble with the 2595 with Profinet traffic, if you are only using TCP you should be OK.

Check Cisco site for switch firmware upgrades.
